MJS PRODUCTIONS

In 1983 at age 15 Golden Boy Mike formed MJS Productions in Chicago and from 1985-1995 was a favorite Dj/Promoter in Chicago area clubs, performing before crowds up to 3000 people.

In June 2001 MJS Productions moved to San Diego and quickly became a favorite there as well.

MJS Productions has promoted both weeklies and one-offs such as Club Dream (weekly), Thanksgiving Special for SanDiegoClubs.com, Tuesdays are Fridays (weekly) and Halloween Haunt for No Neck Records and YSB Productions, Re-Mix, Roxxy North, Liquid Saturdays (weekly), Relocated, Mix and Match, S.I.N. MJS Productions has worked with San Diego nightclubs such as Montage, Decos, Onyx Room/Thin, Ole Madrid, Brass Rail, Seven-17, Kraken, Kadan, Neiman’s, Martini Ranch, Jolt’n’Joes, Canes, Pure, Victors, Margarita Rocks, Del Mar Fairgrounds, Galileo 101, HUSTLER, La Cantina, Rouge, Honey Bee Hive, Rox, Static, Rhythm Lounge, Numbers, Marin Lounge, Red Circle, and Excelsior, Las Vegas Nightclubs such as Seven, Shimmer Cabaret @ Las Vegas Hilton, and House of Blues @ Mandalay Bay, Los Angeles nightclubs such as Spundae @ Circus, and Chicago nightclubs such as Fireside, Crazy Rock, Earl’s, Sports Bar, TnT, Bedrock, and The Cave.

MJS Productions has promoted shows for such artists as Armin Van Buuren (Holland) Dj Micro (New York), Ferry Corsten (UK), Jesse Saunders (Chicago), Electric Skychurch (L.A.), Jon Bishop (San Diego), Thomas Michael (L.A.), Vince Delano (San Diego), Dj Irene (L.A.), Arman the Brainchild (San Francisco), P.O.D. (L.A.), Simply Jeff (Florida), Mea (L.A.), Derrick Thompson (Detroit), Thee-O (L.A.), Alkaholiks (L.A.), Speaker Junkies (Orange County), Shawn Rudnick (Miami), Scott Stubbs (Las Vegas), Patricia Starr (New York), Tim Heit (Phoenix), Dj RF (Los Angeles), DRC (San Francisco), and Monk / Rabbit in the Moon, as well as many local dj's.

In October 2004 MJS Productions formed an Artist Management Agency for its Dj’s and GoGo Dancers to handle their booking requests and to supply venues with the highest level of talent at parties both in Southern California and worldwide.

In October 2005 MJS Productions opened MJS Records, its On-line Record Store, featuring only a few select hand-picked new Trance releases each month, along with the MJSProductions.net Artist Management Agency Artists Cd’s and merchandise, as well as On-line Ticket sales to all of its events.

Eric Simon

With 13 years musical experience, Eric Simon started his dj'ing career at underground raves in Michigan 4 short years ago. Getting his start playing Trance, he has picked up progressive trance, hardhouse, and NRG. Joining MJS Productions in November of 2005, he has played at the Static Lounge, The Rhythm Lounge, and the Marin Lounge. He is also currently running a successful weekly open-turntable night at the Brass Rail. Recently becoming a resident dj for Alos Promotions, he is now playing at Baby Rock and Balak, 2 of the hottest night clubs in Tijuana. He has also played along side Scooter & Lavelle and The Speaker Junkies for instore appearances at DVS Records. With 3 mix cds released, his detailed programming and long intricate mixes make him a dj in a class of his own.

Daniel B

One of the hottest up and coming dj's out of Tijuana, Daniel B. is a dj not to be missed! Amazingly, with only 2 years of dj'ing under his belt, his skills are comparable to those of 10+ years. He got his start dj'ing at the underground raves on the outskirts of Tijuana. Shortly thereafter he picked up a booking spinning Saturday nights at Cats in TJ.Playing melodic, progressive , and tech trance he is any trance lovers dream dj.He has done 2 in store appearances at DVS Records mixing alongside The Speaker Junkies and Scooter & Lavelle.Joining MJS Productions in November of 2005, he has played at the Marin lounge, Rhythm Lounge and The Static Lounge. He can also be found every Monday night dj'ing at the Brass Rail for Rock the Spot. Although only in the club dj circuit for a short time, you will certainly be hearing more from this kid in the future.
